Crisis Management Leadership Masterclass in Vancouver

When a crisis hits, the GC is expected to lead — often with incomplete information, competing priorities, and a room full of stakeholders looking for direction.

Our Crisis Management Leadership Masterclass is built around that exact reality.

We’ll start the day with a hands-on tabletop crisis simulation, led by Jade Buchanan of McCarthy Tétrault. Every participant will be assigned a specific role and asked to work through a fast-moving, realistic scenario alongside fellow GCs. The exercise is designed to surface the exact tensions GCs face in real crises: legal risk, executive decision-making, communications, and timing.

From there, we’ll step back and make sense of what just happened. Crisis management experts will lead a focused debrief and share practical insights on what strong crisis leadership looks like — before, during, and after an incident.

The goal of this Masterclass is not theory. You’ll leave with clear takeaways and a practical approach you can take back to your executive team to strengthen crisis readiness and decision-making.

This session is part of GC Collective’s new Masterclass Series, designed for GCs who want to sharpen how they lead in the moments that matter most.

To attend this event you must be a member of The GC Collective. It's free to join for the first six months, and you will gain access to a powerful knowledge-sharing network of senior legal executives and unique peer-driven learning opportunities aimed at elevating your leadership.
